Windows Media Player Slow? Learn This Fix to Increase Its Speed

Windows Media Player runs slow sometimes. The issues seems to be unabated in most PCs as there is no apparent cause for this problem identified. What is observed after testing this problem in PCs around the world is that there can be many issues which make Windows Media Player slow. Some of these are: Corrupt Registry and Windows junk files, enhanced system effects, outdated drivers, Windows Media Player updates from Microsoft not installed and the presence of softwares/plugins which stream illegal content on web.

Step-1

Fix the corrupted registry in your Windows. The registry in your computer is the component which stores information about all the computer programs. Clean out the Windows Junk: Your WMP may be slow due to the excessive Windows junk files lying in your computer. It is always a good idea to remove this trash to enhance the functionality of computer programs.

Adjust System Effects: The resource-intensive system effects also make WMP slow. You can disable these effects in the following way:
